Call for Nominations – Board of Directors of the Société de transport de Sherbrooke

The Société de transport de Sherbrooke (STS) is looking for three Sherbrooke residents to sit on its Board of Directors, including a public transit customer, a customer for services adapted to the needs of people with disabilities, and a customer representing the student community.

Mandate:

Ensure sound governance of public transit activities within the City of Sherbrooke.

Selection criteria :

To become a member of the Board of Directors, you must :

• be a public transit customer;
• be a paratransit customer, or a parent of a child who uses paratransit services;
• be a customer and active in the Sherbrooke student community now and in the fall 2024 semester;
• be available to attend Board meetings, which will be held on Mondays starting at 4:30 p.m., for a minimum of 10 meetings per year, and meetings of technical committees tasked with studying specific issues;
• be a resident of Sherbrooke.

Compensation :

The positions are remunerated under by-law number R-004-4 adopted on January 24, 2024.
