SAD du Granit is a social economy enterprise located in the MRC du Granit, in the Estrie region. It aims to help people stay in their own homes by offering personalized, reliable and affordable services, particularly to vulnerable people or those losing their autonomy.
Reporting to General Management, the HR Partner plans, organizes, directs and controls all activities relating to recruitment, induction and integration, retention, succession planning and skills development. He/she ensures that the organization always has a sufficient number of competent employees to keep operations running smoothly.
A true pillar of human resources management, he works closely with general management and coordination to offer them constant support. He/she contributes to employee well-being and satisfaction, and implements an HR function aligned with best practices.
Main responsibilities
Recruitment and integration
- Ensure the availability of personnel by assessing manpower needs, recruiting and selecting candidates, and drafting hiring contracts.
- Supervise induction, integration and probation, in collaboration with the trainer.
- Train new members of the administrative team.
Skills development
- Design and implement training and integration plans adapted to homecare workers and the administrative team.
- Supervise the trainer, monitor HR performance indicators and lead team meetings to promote knowledge sharing and professional development.
Mobilization and internal communication
- Design and implement mobilization strategies.
- Measure job satisfaction and organize team meetings and social activities to strengthen cohesion.
- Gather suggestions for improvement and ensure the dissemination of HR information.
- Conduct strategic intelligence to foster commitment and loyalty.
Labor relations and disciplinary management
- Design and implement HR policies
- Inform employees about internal policies and support them in the event of professional difficulties.
- Support coordinators in disciplinary management.
- Document labor relations files, propose appropriate measures to management and conduct exit interviews with recommendations.
Occupational health and safety
- Manage OHS files, follow up with the CNESST and lead the prevention committee.
- Develop wellness initiatives.
- Advise management on prevention priorities and act as a resource person for OHS partners.
Administration and compliance
- Keep internal policies up to date, as well as the employee handbook and pay equity file.
- Ensure fair application of rules and follow up on work stoppages.
- Participate in reporting and performance appraisals, and produce HR reports for management.
Collaboration and organizational support
- Participate in the development of HR strategies with General Management.
- Act as a relay in case of absence and support administrative operations as needed.
Job requirements
- Undergraduate degree in human resources administration, human resources management, industrial relations or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Relevant experience in developing the HR function.
- Be results-driven, continuous development-oriented and people-oriented.
- Strong communication skills.
- Have respect and empathy as core values.
- Demonstrate engaging leadership and a strong ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ethics, discretion and professionalism in managing sensitive files.
- Membership of a professional order (asset).
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent command of spoken and written French.
