Job summary

In keeping with the culture and values of the Opitciwan Atikamekw Council (OAC) and the mission of the department, the incumbent teaches core and complementary subjects in accordance with the current educational program. Contributes to student learning, evaluates learning and ensures classroom management.

Your responsibilities

• Plan and organize teaching in accordance with MEES programs;
• Teaching students;
• Assess students' skills;
• Apply classroom management strategies aimed at problem solving and learning.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in special education;
• Permanent teaching authorization issued by the MEES;
• Knowledge of the latest developments in pedagogical programs and the
• educational research;
• Fluency in written and spoken French;
• No criminal record.

Your benefits

• Compensation between $36.73 and $53.95 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications;
• Permanent position after a 6-month trial period;
• Entry into service for the year 2025 - 2026;
