Secondary School Pedagogical Advisor

Job summary

In keeping with the culture and values of the Opitciwan Atikamekw Council (OAC) and the mission of its department, provides pedagogical support to teachers in their daily activities. Advises and supports educational service providers in the implementation, development and evaluation of curricula, classroom management and didactics, and in the development of student services. Must keep abreast of changes and innovations to promote the development and quality of teaching.

• Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of the educational project and the
• success while respecting the educational and administrative frameworks;
• Ensure that teaching complies with MEQ standards;
• Contribute to the improvement of teaching methods;

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in teaching OR any other combination of training deemed equivalent;
• 5 years teaching experience;
• Good knowledge of the Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.);
• Fluency in written and spoken French;
• Experience in an aboriginal context;
• No criminal record.

Your benefits

• Compensation between $36.73 and $53.95 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications;
• Permanent position after a 6-month trial period;
• Entry into service for the year 2025 - 2026;
• 40-hour week;
